Giethoorn – Blokzijl

Because it is a circular route with separate signage (one-sided, anti-clockwise), you can in principle start the route anywhere. Giethoorn is a nice starting point. For example from the Eendrachtsplein car park. Cycle back to the Beulakerweg via the Bartus Warnersweg. Turn right at the Beulakerweg. Another nice starting point is the De Wieden visitor center of Natuurmonumenten, at Beulakerpad 1 in Sint Jansklooster. From here, turn left onto De Leeuwte and follow the signs.
